  • The Hubers' Hazardous Hearth
  • The Rescue crew provide a safe living area for the family.
    From "DIY to the Rescue"
    episode DTTR-111

What says home, comfort and family more than a family hearth? A cozy hearth is just what the Huber family longed for, but ended up with a living area that presented safety hazards to their three small children. On the list of repairs: a ceiling hole in need of patching; a hardwood floor with some missing boards; and a hearth around the fireplace to protect their children from the exposed flames. The DIY to the Rescue crew will help Stephanie and Craig recover from a few repairs that went unfinished as the family got in over their collective heads.
