    Tips:

    • Cut a plastic clothes hangar into a long J shape and chuck it in your drill for a quick mix up.

    • Slap your brush against the sides of the paint can instead of scraping. You'll keep more paint on the brush and cover more area between dips.

    • Some 890,000 children in the United States have lead levels high enough to cause adverse effects on their ability to learn, mainly because of exposure to deteriorating lead-based paint in their homes.

    • In some areas, fence height, location, style, and materials are regulated. Check with your local building codes before you begin.

    • You can bevel your own fence post caps with a radial arm saw set on 45 degrees. Pull the saw firmly towards you and then rotate the post until you have beveled each side.

    • When you have to cut several boards to the same length, make a fence. Measure the distance between your saw's blade and edge of soleplate. Cut a board to this length. Attach it to the end of a board cut to the final project length. Use this fence by hooking it on one end of the work piece and resting the soleplate against the other.
