A living room gets some much needed storage and seating, creating a great place to entertain friends.
Stereo TowerParts and pieces of an old table are put together to create a stand for a stereo system.
Materials:18"x35-1/2" plywood 15 1/2"x33-1/2" plywood 13"x25" plywood 1" corner molding 4 straight tapered legs 4 rounded tapered legs table saw chop saw hammer and nails screws and screw gun
1. Sand the center coffee table and all painted pieces.2. Cut the wood to size. 3. Insert the largest piece into the underside of the coffee table. Attach by screwing it to the sides.
1. Screw the top legs to the 13" x 25" piece of plywood to create the top.2. Screw the 15 1/2" x 33 1/2" plywood to the legs up from the bottom for the middle of the table. 3. Attach the middle piece to the end table. 4. Cut the corner molding pieces to length, and then attach to each side of the plywood using wood glue and nails (figure A). 5. Attach the bottom legs (figure B). Screw in the standard leg hardware, and then screw the legs to the hardware bases. 6. Stain or paint the unit.
