Sweaters

1. Cut the sweaters into strips of various widths. Try to salvage any details in the sweater.

2. Pull yarn from the sweater to use for sewing.

3. Place sections of the sweaters on the surfboard surface, and then arrange them into a pleasing pattern.

4. Sew the sections together using a large needle and yarn from the sweater.

Tip: Use a large stitch to create an interesting pattern (figure J).

5. Attach the sweater to the surfboard using spray adhesive and upholstery tacks. Work from the center out.

6. Pull the wrap around the surfboard, and then attach to the back of the board with upholstery tacks.

7. Add more upholstery tacks around the entire edge of the surfboard for added detail.

8. Hang the finished product on the wall.

9. Place the guitar in the stand.
