With the new pilasters, pediment and stoop surface completed, the crew has a few finishing touches to add. Luna paints new door green (figure A) and allows it dry before it is re-hung. Next, the crew undertakes the installation of new handrails and posts.
Charlie Ravenna's front stoop is transformed.

- Metal rails are installed. In this example, a kit is used with posts that slip right over the rails (figure B).
- Next, the base of each post is locked into place (figure C).
- Finally, all the side panels are positioned and secured (figure D).
The result? A front stoop that beckons visitors to Charlie Ravenna's home sweet home.
