    caulk
    caulking gun
    construction adhesive
    drill with masonry bits and countersink bit
    finishing nails
    handsaw
    level
    masonry screws.
    measuring tape
    pediment and pilasters
    pencil
    puddy knife
    pry bar
    safety glasses
    1. The crew removes the old pediment and trim, then positions the new pediment. The pediment is positioned as desired--checked for level--and marked figure A).

    2. Next, the crew measures from the mark made at the bottom of the pediment to the stoop (figure B). The pilasters are marked and cut with a handsaw. The cut pilasters are held against the brick surface of the home and two holes are marked at the top and middle of each pilaster.
