I have been tiling with Paul Wilson -- the Tile Doctor. I was only able to lay three tiles in my laundry room before I had to leave to pick up the boys, but it was a wonderful experience to learn how to tile -- and with such a great teacher. The wood floors should be going in on Thursday, I think, so that it will be ready and have had a chance to set before the dedication.

I intend to build a deck onto the house. I haven't yet picked out the layout or anything. Since my "back" door is really a side door, it will have to wrap around the house. We love being outside so much that a deck is a must! As for anything else, so much has already been done I will spend time taking it all in. I have been checking out the info on the DIY Web site on everything from mold to building a deck. There is so much great information -- I'm sure I'll be sending for the kits when I move in (smile).
