    Figure G
    1. Purchase a piece of pine plywood 35" x 48" long.

    2. Paint the plywood to match the furniture using "Totally Tan".

    3. Create curved detail—six inches at the deepest—using a jigsaw (figure F).

    4. Attach the plywood to the front 3/4 inch edge of the top of the dry sink using a 48 inch long piano hinge.

    5. Add "props" which will hold the drop leaf in place by drilling two 16 inch ball bearing slider hinges--capable of holding 100 pounds--to the sides of the dry sink, directly underneath the existing top using one inch screws.

    6. Attach two pieces of 1 x 2 poplar lumber--painted "Totally Tan"—to the slider hinges (figure G) at the pre-marked holes. When slid out, the 1 x 2's and slider hinges will prop up the drop leaf and hold it parallel to the existing dry sink surface.
