Note: Adjust the measurements below to accommodate the size of your bed.1. Cut three one inch wooden dowels. Cut one dowel to 74 inches in length, and two dowels to 42 inches in length.
2. Paint each dowel with "Leather Bound".
3. Attach small eyelet screws to each end of the three dowels.
4. Place the twin size bed laterally against the wall so that the longest side of the bed is up against the wallin a daybed fashion.
5. Screw teacup hooks or heavy duty hooks (contingent upon the weight of the fabric you will use) into the ceiling directly above the bed at each of the four corners.
6. Slip pre-sewn, store bought rod pocket panels (in coordinating colors) over each of the dowels (figure D). Two 84" x 52" wide panels on the 74 inch length dowel, and one 84" x 52" panel on each of the 42 inch lengths.
7. Using fishing wire, string through the eyelets at each end of the dowels, and then attach to the ceiling hooks (figure E) adjusting the fishing wire so that the bottom of the fabric panels lay flush with the floorat approximately 84 1/2 inches. The 42 inch dowels with the panel will be hung on each side of the daybed, and the 74 inch dowel with the panels, will be hung behind the bed against the wall.
Extra:
Paint a canvas frame in colors that coordinate with your drapery, and then suspend from the ceiling in the same fashion as the panels. Hang the frame just in front of the fabric panels that are along the wall.
