    Canopy Bed

A beautiful Moroccan canopy transforms a four-post bed into an exotic place to rest.

    Materials:

    1 1"x4"x6" piece of poplar
    1 1"x2"x6" piece of poplar
    finish nails
    220-grit sandpaper
    paint

    1. Remove the shelves, brackets and aluminum diamond plate from the bed installed in the last episode.

    2. Cut four sets of 1 x 4 to wrap the tops of the two outer sides of the bedposts. Miter the corners and cut the ends flush. Attach them to the posts with finish nails.

    3. Using the same procedure, a second layer was built using a 1 x 2 attached to the tops of the 1 x 4. Attach with finish nails.

    4. Sand with 220-grit sandpaper, and then paint the same color as the bed.
