Refurbishing a Chests of Drawers

A old chest of drawers gets a face-lift with paint and new drawer pulls to compliment the under-the-sea motif.

1. Sand all surfaces of the chest with 220-grit sandpaper (figure D). Remove any dust or debris using a wet cloth.

2. Paint the top surface of the chest drawer frames, sides and back using "Cilantro".

3. Paint the drawer fronts using "Easy Green" (figure E) to accentuate the curved "wave" detail.

4. Add new drawer pulls. In this project shell-shaped pulls were used.

5. Add any appropriate decals as desired.
