1. Paint the top 12 inches of the wall, the ceiling and all trim with the "Feather White" paint. 2. Tape around the room at the bottom of the feather white, and then again around the room approximately 35 inches below the tape line. Paint the portion of the wall between the two strips of tape with "Cosmetic Peach". 3. Remove the tape and allow the walls to dry thoroughly before beginning the decorative techniques. 4. Measure up 35 inches from the top of the base board, and then mark the wall. Continue marking the wall every one to two feet around the room. This will become the area for the stripes.

5. Place painters blue tape on the wall to create the stripes (figure A). Add additional tape to create a two inch wide stripe and slanted at different angles to create various stripe widths.6. Before painting the stripes, create the top wave. Using the lower edge of the "Cosmetic Peach" portion of the wall as a guide, free-hand or use a flexible ruler to create waves. The top wave will be the "Sockeye" color. 7. Paint the stripes using 6 different colors (figure B). Vary the colors of each stripe around the room. You'll need to paint alternating stripes one color at a time, and then allow them to dry before continuing. 8. When the stripes are done and thoroughly dry, remove the tape. 9. Use the top line of the stripe field and measure up approximately 6 inches. This will become the top of the lower wave. Draw the lower wave outline, and then paint with "Cosmetic Peach". Cut in the edge along the stripe portion of the wall for a clearly defined line (figure C).
