Host Gilda Riccardi and today's featured homeowner, Dianne, tackle the task of updating the bedroom of Dianne's 11-year-old daughter, Kelsey, in a style that will bridge the transition from child to preteen. After discussing colors, designs and techniques, they decide on painted clouds for the ceiling, pale-lavender walls and a diamond pattern on the floor. Since the house is older and the bedroom features a fireplace, they look at various stencils and decide to create their own.
