    Installing Shower Tile

    Steps:

    • Cover your shower area with cement board. Secure it to the studs using a power drill and drywall screws.

    • Mud and tape the corners and the screws

    • Mix your grout according to manufacturer's instructions.

    • With a notched trowel, spread the grout onto the cement board. Keep the trowel at a 45-degree angle to create deep groves in the grout.

    • Press the tile to the wall and wiggle it into place. Use spacers to maintain the grout lines.

    • Finish with grout and seal your tile to prevent water damage.

    • Install the shower door.
