    Materials:

    Teflon tape
    shower fixtures (supplied by manufacturer)

    Install Multi-Spray Shower

    Note: A professional plumber roughed in the shower connections before the cement board and tile were installed.

    • Wrap Teflon tape around the threaded end of the shower arm and screw it into the water pipe.

    • Attach the shower head to the shower arm according to the manufacturer's instructions (figure A).

    • For each shower jet, wrap Teflon tape around both nipples of the jet. Add the sealing gasket and trim ring, then thread the nipple onto the supply line (figure B).

    • Attach the spray face to the jet according to the manufacturer's instructions. The spray face used in this project attached using a C-clip, which was then concealed by a snap-on cover (figure C).

    • Use the same method to install the other spray jets.

    • Attach the handles according to the manufacturer's instructions. For the handles used in this project, first screw in the threaded nylon pipe. Slip the face plate over the threaded pipe, then screw in the handle. Finger-tighten the barrel of the handle to secure it without turning on the water.
