This project begins with the installation of the bathroom vanity.

Materials:

tape measure
pencil
safety glasses
drill
hole saw
level
shims
construction adhesive
caulk gun
finish nailer

Vanity Installation

1. Take measurements for the water supply lines and drain (figure A) and transfer them to the back of the cabinet, then cut out with a hole saw (figure B).

2. Check for level and add shims if necessary (figure C).

3. Drill pilot holes into the studs and fasten cabinet to the wall (figure D).

4. With vanity in place, the final piece of wainscoting can go up (figure E). Apply construction adhesive and secure with a finish nailer.

5. Snap off shims and add a piece of 1x6 to build up the toekick (figure F).

6. Cover the 1x6 with the provided toekick (figure G). Secure it using construction adhesive and a finish nailer.

7. The decorative legs finish off the cabinet. Apply construction adhesive to the cabinet and nail them on from the back side (figure H).
