    8. Set skylight into opening (figure I). Make sure it is square, then fasten it to the roof with the provided screws.

    9. Seal the opening by adding self-adhesive skylight roofing underlayment (figure J).

    10. Then, the sill flashing is installed (figure K) and will eventually be covered with shingles.

    11. Weave five inch step into the roofing (figure L), slipping one into each shingle, then nailing it down (figure M).
