Shower Door Installation

1. Set the bottom track and temporarily tape it in place (figure H).

2. To determine proper placement of the wall jamb, drop it into the bottom track, check for plumb with a level and mark the location of the screw holes (figure I).

3. Use a hammer drill to go through the tile and drop support anchors into the holes.

4. Before setting the wall jamb, squeeze a good amount of silicone into the corner of the bottom track. This will ensure the shower door is watertight (figure J).

5. Attach the wall jamb with anchors and stainless steel pan head screws (figure K).

6. Drop setting blocks into the bottom track to hold the bottom of the glass panel safely in place (figure L).

7. Set glass panel in place, then add corner post. Always wear gloves when working with glass (figure M).

8. Set top rail (figure N), drill a hole and secure it to the wall jamb with screws.

9. Add the corner piece and bottom track (figure O). Drop pivot plugs into the holes for the door pivots, then run a strip of vinyl in the track to make a soft channel for the door. Cut the excess with a wire cutter.

10. Set shower door in place (figure P).
