Tiling Shower Walls
1. Use a wet saw to make any necessary tile cuts (figure A).
2. Back-butter the tiles with thinset using a square-notch trowel (figure B) and press firmly to the wall. Gently tap the tile with a rubber mallet to ensure good adhesion (figure C).
3. Set spacers beneath and between tiles to make even grout lines (figure D).
4. Be sure to place the cut edge of the tiles in the corner to hide the rough edge (figure E).
5. Wipe excess thinset off of the tiles with a wet sponge.
6. The glass accent tile is set in the same manner as it was in the shower floortwo layers of thinset applied with a v-notch trowel (figure F).
