    Vanity Top Removal

    1. Shut off the water supply.

    2. Remove the doors and drawers

    3. Disconnect the water supply and the P-trap using a pipe wrench (figure A).

    4. Score the silicone along the edges of the countertop and remove it (figure B).

    Water Shut-off Valve Installation

    1. With a close-quarters tubing cutter, cut off the existing pipe leaving enough to attach the valve (figure C).

    2. Clean and sand the existing pipe with an emery cloth to ensure the best seal (figure D).

    3. Slip the compression nut and the valve over the pipe and hand tighten the nut onto the valve (figure E). Then, hold the valve securely with one wrench while tightening the compression nut with another wrench (figure F).
