Waterfall Installation How to install a bathroom waterfall From "Bathroom Renovations" episode DBTR-305

The finishing touch, a cascading water fountain, completes the transformation into making this bathroom modern again.

Materials:

pencil
tape measure
hammer drill with depth guide
safety glasses
impact driver
distilled water

Waterfall Installation

1. Eyeball the placement of the waterfall and mark the spot on the wall. Find center on the wall (figure A), then place the hanging bracket on the wall and mark the holes.

2. Attach a depth guide to a hammer drill and drill holes 1/2" into the tile (figure B). Screw hanging bracket to wall.

3. Measure down from hanging bracket to find the location for the top of the bottom basin (figure C).

4. Dryfit basin, mark hole locations and drill them out. Add anchors for support and attach basin (figure D).

5. Attach slate to hanging bracket.

6. Set pump in basin and snap in basin tray, then add rocks.

7. Fill fountain with distilled water which will keep the pump from clogging with hard water deposits.

8. The waterfall looks great (figure E)!
