Framing Window
1. Cut new support studs with a miter saw (figure A).
2. To connect the new stud to the old one, use a right-angle driver with 2-1/2 screws (figure B).
3. Determine height of window (figure C).
4. Then run a laser line 1-1/2 inches lower (figure D), to account for the width of the framing board and mark.
