    Ironing Center Installation

    Materials:

    tape measure
    level
    cardboard template
    pencil
    jab saw
    reciprocating saw

    1. Find the center of the wall where the ironing center will go, and make a mark with a pencil (figure A).

    2. Use a level to draw a straight, vertical line down the center of the wall (figure B).

    3. Make a template of the ironing center out of cardboard (figure C).

    4. Line up the center of the template with the center mark on the wall, and draw a pencil line around it.

    5. With a jab saw, cut out a square within the outline of the template large enough for you to reach your arm in to feel around for any obstructions (figure D).

    6. Finish the template cut with the jab saw once the inside of the wall is clear (figure E).

    7. Slide the iron cabinet into place (figure F).

    8. Secure it to the wall with screws (figure G).

    9. Hook it up to the electrical source (figure H).
