Its time to hang wallpaper in the bathroom!
 |

The bathroom was anything but kid friendly...
|
| |

with countertops too high and decor too drab, the space was in need of an uplift.
|
| |

When the work was complete, this bathroom was changed...
|
| |

to a room any child would love!

Measure the width of the wallpaper roll, and mark that measurement on the wall out from the corner (figure A). 2. Line up a vertical laser level line on the mark. That will be the edge of the first sheet of wallpaper. 3. Measure the height of the wall space to be papered. Then add 4 inches to that length, so you have a 2 inch overlap at the top and bottom. 4. Use this first piece of wallpaper as a template to cut several more pieces to length (figure B). 5. Roll up an individual sheet and soak it in water, making sure all the air bubbles have escaped (figure C).
6. Fold the top of the wet strip two-thirds of the way down, so paste rests on paste (figure D). Allow 2-3 minutes for the strip to relax, then prepare more strips.7. Start wallpaper at the top of the wall and move downward, leaving two inches of overhang at the top and bottom (figure E). 8. Smooth the air bubbles out with a flat edge (figure F).
9. Trim the overhang off with a razor knife (figure G).10. Wipe the excess paste away with a natural sponge (figure H). 11. To hang wallpaper by a window, hang the wallpaper as usual and then, with a utility knife, cut out the window, following the gap between the drywall and the window casing.
