 with countertops too high and decor too drab, the space was in need of an uplift.

 When the work was complete, this bathroom was changed...

Materials:Wall Tile Laser level 3/16 in. V-notch trowel Scraper Wet saw Safety gloves and glasses Building Tile Frame Pencil Table saw Construction adhesive Clamps Hanging Wallpaper Utility knife Scissors Flat edge Laser level Natural sponge Grouting Tile Float Sponge Rubber gloves Build Frame 1. Cut a piece of quarter-inch luan (figure A). 2. Arrange the tiles (figure B).
3. Draw a line around the tile design.4. Lift the tiles and apply a bead of construction adhesive on the back (figure C). 5. Miter cut the window casing to create the frame. 6. Spread adhesive on the bottom side of the window casing, and press into place (figure D). 7. Clamp the frame down until the adhesive dries.
