    Plans for Renovating the Bathroom

Larry, the homeowner, is an ER doctor and he purchased an old '70s style house that needed a lot of work. His friend, Jorj, is a contractor and helped him come with up a plan for the new bathroom.

    1. To get to the bathroom it is like going through a maze with the walls covered with foil wallpaper. The tub was in the floor by a large window and it had a stone finish all around it. So, Larry and Jorj removed everything from the bathroom and that was no small project.

    2. Jorj and his crew put up the new framework (figure A). They also installed the new plumbing and electrical.

    3. The plans for the renovation are to add a tiled tub deck (figure B). Lay down a floor warming system that is covered with a stamped and designed concrete.

    4. They will set porcelain and slate tile.

    5. Install an electronic shower system that is controlled with a keypad (figure C), and a computerized bathtub. The computerized bathtub allows you to preset the water level, temperature, and you have chromatherapy lighting (lets you choose the color of water you want to sit in).

    6. They are going to install body jets, a hand-held shower, an overhead showerhead (figure D), and install a steam feature.

    7. They will install double vanities with vessel sinks and cherry cabinetry.

    8. A new electronic toilet will be installed, and some futuristic features that you will have to see to believe -- like a lighted showerhead, and a mirror with an integrated LCD TV that just looks like a regular mirror when the TV is off.

    9. The homeowner is going to install a porcelain that looks like plain granite, and a Brazilian granite (figure E) for the vanity.
