    To help eliminate clutter, a shelving unit is built in this exercise room.
    Materials:

    2x10 wood material
    forstner bit
    3-inch deck screws
    carpenter's glue (optional)

    Figure A - Install the vertical rows.
    1. Start by measuring the area where the storage unit will be placed.

    2. Once you have the dimensions, sketch the design of your storage unit on paper.

    3. Make the frame by using 2x10s and cutting each board to the chosen specs.

    4. Build vertical rows for the seperation pieces (figure A).

    5. Add horizontal shelves to create cubbies.

    6. When assembling the frame, use a forstner bit and 3-inch deck screws to assemble (figure B). It's also a good idea to use some carpenter's glue.

    7. After you have assembled all your frames, shelves and cubbies, sand down and finish with stain or paint.
