Symbols of light are used during the important holidays of all faiths. In the Jewish religion the lighting of a menorah is part of Hanukkah, the eight-day Festival of Lights. Atlanta resident Carol Nemo's large collection of Judaica includes many menorahs (figure A) and a large collection of dreidels. A dreidel, a four-sided top with a Hebrew letter on each side, is used to play a game of chance during Hanukkah. One of this household's favorite dreidels is made of copper and other metals and spins in its own stand (figure B).
