Activity Log: Georgia Tech (Hours 7 - 8)

    • After adjusting the size and fit of the drive train and ball chucker, they are bolted together using connectors and 2 inch bolts.

    • The holding bin is then secured to the top with duct tape.

    • The Issac 32 speed controllers are programmed and fine-tuned.

    • The robot is wired together using regular wire as well as wires from the sewing machines.

    • The front of the robot is duct-taped to protect the housing and mechanics of the robot.

Activity Log: Virginia Tech (Hours 7 - 8)

    • The drive train is attached to the shooting mechanism.

    • The chassis of the sewing machine is used to mount all the controls and wires for the robot. Batteries are attached to a nook by the chassis and the robot is wired.

    • As a final addition, a laser pointer is attached to the front to allow for better aim when shooting.
