    • Tamiya's Mercedes (figure A) is part of their XB series. The "XB" signifies "expert built." This is a 1/10-scale on-road touring car, and can be run on any parking lot or asphalt surface.

    • This performance road-racer features a chassis and suspension with 4-wheel shaft-drive along with front and rear differentials (figure B). These features make for very good handling on the pavement. A number of after-market upgrades are also available including performance tires and motors, ball-bearings, metal shock absorbers and electronic speed controllers.

    Trial Run

Since both of these models come pre-built and ready to run, right out of the box, the only thing left to do is hit the tracks. That means an asphalt parking lot for the Mercedes (figure E) and a BMX dirt-track -- complete with jumps -- for the Evader (figures F and G).
