Adding Light to a Model Railroad BuildingMaterials: miniature lights drill masking tape wire ties Note: Some model building kits come with the lighting already installed. - Adding lights to a building is simply a twist of a couple of wires.
- Once the wires are connected, cover the wires with wire nuts.
- Place light in the building in the desired position.
- Use a piece of masking tape to hold the light into place.
- Locate on your building where you want to place the lights.
- Drill a hole into the building where you want to place them.
- Place wires through the drilled out holes.
- Put light bulbs into place.
- Twist the two black wires together and the two red ones.
- Tape the wires to the building to hold into place.
