  • Operations Kit and Uncoupling Model Railroad Cars
  • A guest demonstrates an operations kit and how to uncouple model railroad cars.
    From "Workin' On the Railroad"
    episode DWRR-207L

Host Chris Chianelli is joined by guest David Popp, associate editor of Model Railroader Magazine in the Workin' on the Railroad workshop. David explains the operations kit by Micro Mark, and he demonstrates how to use car cards for each train and how to uncouple cars from the locomotive.

Once a new car is coupled and moved away from the shipping yard, that car's card is removed from the operator box, and once the operations is completed, the train is then on its way for deliveries.
