Show host Kim Haworth likes to plant a pot of hyacinth bulbs, and then go a few steps further to make a memorable gift. First, she saves the water picks from florist's roses (those tubes with rubber tops). She picks a few stems of camellias or ferns or such, and inserts them into the water picks. Then she tucks the water picks into a pot of blooming hyacinths, and wraps paper around the hole blooming creation for a memorable gift.
