The deep pink flowers arrive in spring and they're followed by black fruit which attracts birds. It can grow 40-50 feet tall and wide in proper conditions. It prefers full sun. The plant itself can grow to 36 inches tall and 48 inches wide. This is considered one of the best blooming hostas. It has white flowers in summer. USDA Zones 3-9 Cost: $70 for five plants.
