    • Icee Blue juniper The Icee Blue juniper is a low-growing evergreen. It gets to about four inches tall, but it can spread eight feet and is a great groundcover. This juniper does well in zones 3 through 9.
      Cost: $193 for 7

    • Annual geranium, a.k.a. Pelargonium. There are many different kinds of geraniums, and they come in many colors and sizes. Geraniums need at least four hours of sun a day to look their best. Cost varies according to variety.
Maintenance Tips: Avoid plant disease by watering at the base rather than on the leaves.Water regularly, allowing soil to dry between watering. Do not let the leaves wilt or they will turn yellow and drop off.

    • Begonia There are many different kinds of begonias, and they are grown for both their foliage and flowers. Begonias flower in summer and continue until frost. Most begonias grow well in partial shade.
Cost: Varies according to variety, etc.
Maintenance Tip: Too much sun can burn the leaves of begonias.
