Dollars and Sense We used more than 20 plants in Hardiness Zone 6.
The most expensive items were the shrubs. The 5-gallon shrubs we used cost $45 each. Larger shrubs could cost double.
The least expensive plants were the annuals and perennials. The annuals, like the Cleomes, cost less than $10 a tray. The perennials like the foxglove and the Shasta daisy cost $5 for gallon pots.
Tiller Rental - $50 a day.
