If you ever need to spray paint your lawn like the professional stadiums do, well, here's how!

    Lawn Painting

    1. Pros use paint designed especially for painting on grass (figure A). The company that makes the paint is called World Class Athletic Surfaces.

    2. The paint creates a lattice-like effect on the grass blade, so it still receives some sunlight and can continue to grow (figure B).

    3. The paint does not have quick drying agents like household paints. Those agents can kill your grass.

    4. When you paint, you’re painting the blade, not the root system that is so vital to the growth of the grass.

    5. If you don’t have a steady, artistic hand, use a stencil to create your design (figure C).
