Now that the backyard has a safe area for entertaining and play, it's time to add finishing touches.
- A thick bed of mulch is placed over the hard-packed soil to provide a comfortable play surface -- and as an added bonus, it looks great (figure A).
- Following in the spirit of Native American culture, the tepee is blessed with sage (figure B).
With the hard work done and the campsite ready for campers, it's now time to invite family and friends over, gather around the first fire in the firepit and break out the S'mores (figure C).
