    Plant Pincushion Flower.
Fill in the upper right corner of the planting area with this light purple scabiosa.

    Plant Palace Purple Coral Bells.
For a dynamic color display, plant this deep purple heuchera so that it contrasts the bright green and yellow of the acorus.

    Plant Amber Waves Coral Bells.
With its "autumn" colors, this heuchera creates a dramatic contrast when combined with the purple version.

    Lay bark mulch.
Fill in the remaining bare soil with mulch. Not only does this contrast nicely with the plants and pebbles, but enriches the soil as well.

    Install solar-powered lighting.
For beautiful garden illumination at night, install a solar-powered lamp. Be sure to place the lamp so that the solar panel receives adequate sunlight throughout the day in order to fully charge.
