    After adding mulch to the new flowerbeds, it’s time to move on to the walkway. You can use any type of flat stones for the walkway -- even marble.

    AFTER: New, improved front yard!
    After placing in the new pieces, simply add gravel to fill in around the stones. A good idea to keep the stones and gravel into place is to install metal edging for a border.

    With the retaining wall in place and new plants installed, the homeowners have a completely new front yard!
