    It's time to add the landscaping plants and mulch around the pond area and get the natural feel the Scotts are after.

    The pond wasn't the only attraction.

    • After adding waterfall sealant around the edges of the liner to prevent leaks, the pond is now ready for water.

    • The last step before turning on the waterfall is to add the waterfall filter.

    There are some extra ways you can care for the new aquatic plants in your water feature.

    • During the colder months of the year, the plants can be clipped back and taken out of the pond.

    • Plants will also be fine if stored in a garage or other cool, dark area.

    • Since aquatic plants grow quickly, it's important to remember the rule that less is more!
