Project time: 3 hours.

• Black top succulent (Aeonium Arboreum 'Zwartkop') and Japanese blood grass (Imperata Cylindriea) are planted in large zinc planters, adding a contemporary touch to the patio.

• Slatted wood patio furniture is added to the patio. The slatted design mirrors the design of the wall extension(figure A).

• Candles wall sconces will add a glow to the evening atmosphere (figure B).

• And finally, a trio of garden spheres add an artistic touch to the lawn (figure C).

Total project time: 15 hours.

In the next episode, we'll see Part Two of yard restoration, which will include a glass rock path that meanders through a lush bamboo forest.
