The Jurassic garden is almost complete. Maureen adds a few unusual accents that define the garden's unique character, then fills in select areas with moss to create the appearance of long ago.

    Steps

    1. Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) can be tucked in the rock through the entire seep (figure A). This will give the look of being there a long time.

    2. A reproduction of a T-rex skull is placed in the center of the bog (figure B).

    3. Moss(Bryophyta) is one of the most universal plants (figure C). It can be found on every continent.

    4. Liverworts (Hepatophyta) are added (figure D).

    5. Mulch is added to the Jurassic garden. Covering the ground with mulch will help hold moisture in, allowing the plants to grow to their fullest potential.

    6. A bench that blends in well is added so the homeowners can sit and enjoy their new garden (figure E).

After 15 hours of work, Maureen has finished the Jurassic garden (figure F). Maureen accomplished this amazing space in one weekend -- and so can you!
