Fruit TreesHow to Outsmart Deer and Save Your Landscape
Good fencing can help keep deer away from your landscape. But if it's too expensive or if it's not permitted in your area due to local ordinances, you can try a newer product, a Wireless Deer Fence. It's scented so the deer will want to smell it, and when they do, they will get a small shock to scare them away.
You can also try deer repellant sprays. Government and university studies show that repellants made with putrescent egg solids, or rotten eggs, appear to be particularly effective. The key is you'll have to keep spraying them on if you want to keep the deer out.
