    Anethum graveolens--Dill

    • Aromatic annual herb with finely dissected, ferny foliage and yellow flowers.
    • Grow in full sun in all zones
    • Grow in fertile, but sharply drained soil
    • Height: 18-36 inches
    • Width: 12-18 inches

    Annual in all USDA zones:

    • All zones: Plant in spring after danger of frost has passed; mulch lightly to conserve moisture; pinch out flower heads to promote foliage growth.

    Petroselinum crispum--Parsley

    • Biennial, but usually grown as an annual
    • Occasionally eaten by swallowtail butterfly caterpillars
    • Height: 32 inches
    • Width: 24 inches
    • Grow in full sun to partial shade
    • Grow in fertile, but well-drained soil

    Hardy in AHS heat zones 8-5
