Craft expert Betty Ann Lasley uses dried materials to cover a small plastic foam wreath. Materials: Small plastic foam wreath Foam craft brush Tacky glue Sheet moss Waxed paper Ribbon or fabric strips Low-temperature glue gun U-pin Dried leaves and flowers - Use foam brush to apply tacky glue over entire surface of foam wreath.
- Apply moss to wreath (figure A). Use waxed paper to press the moss and securely adhere it to foam (figure B).
- Make a loop of ribbon and hot-glue ends to wreath (figure C). Center U-pin over ends and press through wreath until top of pin is flat against the surface.
- Use hot glue to attach a layer of dried leaves around the front surface of wreath (figure D). Add layers of flowers or petals -- arranging as desired -- directly over leaves.
- Allow to dry throughly before hanging.
