    Materials for Floral Gallery:

    Plexiglas(T) (approx. 12" x 12")
    Duct tape or copper foil
    Fresh flowers
    Leaves and twigs (optional)

    Materials for Floral Mosaic:

    Flat display dish or terra-cotta tray
    White sand
    Assorted fresh or dry flower heads

    Instructions for Floral Gallery:

    1. Cover Plexiglas edges with tape or foil.

    2. Level a spot in ground larger than the Plexiglas.

    3. Arrange flowers in soil (figure A) and cover with Plexiglas.

    4. Cover edges of Plexiglas with loose soil and frame with leaves or twigs

    Instructions for Floral Mosaic:

    1. Pour white sand into display dish or tray.

    2. Arrange flower heads into desired design (figure B).

    3. Place on table or counter for display.

    Tips:

    • Ask a frame shop for free scraps of Plexiglas.

    • The floral gallery could become a steppingstone in your garden.

    Products: frame shops and hardware or craft stores.
