In this final segment, host Denise Dillon shares lighting tips:

• Size matters -- or rather height. A good rule of thumb of table lamps is about 28" from the table.

• Pain doesn't necessarily darken a room. Paint can be a very valuable source of light.

• Ceiling "can" lights have a light spread of about four feet, so be careful not to put them too close to the corners of the room.

• Don't use ammonia-based cleaners on mirrors. It can eat through the nickel base and leave dark spots.

• Be creative handling lighting challenges. Half shades for a narrow mantle or unique art to cover an unsightly outlet can help you put your rooms in the right light.
