Here's how to adjust a bifold door if it isn't closing properly.

    Materials:

    Pliers
    Phillips-head screwdriver

Bifold doors can be adjusted up and down, side to side and diagonally. Begin by pushing down the nylon track roller (figure A) and pulling the front of the door out of the track.

Lift the door out of the track at the bottom (figure B), and lay it down so that you can work on it.

The bottom of the door has an adjustable pin that sits in a track on the floor. The pin can be raised and lowered, and teeth on the face of the pin fit into the track to lock it into place (figure C). The track may also be used to adjust the angle of the door in 1/16" increments.

In the upper track, the mounting bracket can be moved back and forth by loosening the setscrew (figure D).

After you adjust the door, replace it by fitting the top into the bracket and the bottom into the floor track. In all likelihood, you'll need to make a few minor adjustments before the door looks right.
