    Interior Paint and Landscaping

    Tips:

    • Turn a plastic grocery bag inside out and slide your roller tray into it before you add paint. When you're done, just turn the bag inside out and throw the whole mess away!

    • You can rinse your rollers in half the time if you scrape excess paint back into the pan with a multi-purpose painter's tool.

    • For masking, use tape labeled "low tack" or "easy release." Regular masking tape is likely to pull off paint or varnish, especially if it's left in place for more than a couple of days.

    • You can drop leaves and grass clippings into a metal garbage can and chop them into fine mulch with a string trimmer.

    • Hot glue a film canister to the side of your herbicide container to keep control of that remote sprayer.

    • Attach a rope to an old plastic wading pool to make a convenient yard skid for leaves and brush removal.
